Dust Mites

Dust mites are far too small to be seen with the human eye. Dust mites are the single most common allergen that people inhale in their home. These microscopic animals, which are found in dust, produce a common allergen.Dust mites, although much smaller, belong to the same family as spiders and ticks. Over 22 million Americans are allergic to mite residue that is small enough to be airborne. When disturbed by vacuuming with a standard vacuum, they and their fecal dust may remain airborne for up to 10 minutes in your home's interior air. Even walking across your carpet will disturb their fecal pellets. The membrane that covers the outside of these pellets doesn't break down quickly - which means the pellets may keep their allergy causing potential for months.

Our Process

The Need For Sanitation

After the cleaning process is complete, we recommend using a sanitizer and deodorizer. We offer two different products, both registered with the EPA, EnviroCon and Oxine®. Both of these products have been tested and proven to be effective. Bacteria, mold, mildew, fungi and yeast are everywhere in our daily environment. The condensation which forms on the cooling coils, drip pan and duct work of air handling systems creates an ideal environment for the growth of these microorganisms. When applied to a precleaned system, Oxine® is extremely effective in reducing the harmful potential associated with this microbial contamination.

Dirt, dust, mold, pollen, and animal dander are recirculated through our air ducts every time we turn on our heat or air conditioner. Combined with moisture, you have the ideal breeding ground for fungi, germs, and household mold. Studies have confirmed that some diseases, including salmonella, strep, and legionnaires disease are spread by contaminated air ducts.

About Envirocon

Microbial Control

For many allergy sufferers, microbial growth in the air handling system can significantly aggravate or even initiate an allergic response. For this reason we have developed EnviroConTM, an EPA registered Bacteriostat, Fungistat, Germistat and All-purpose Deodorizer. EnviroConTM may be used wherever air needs to be treated or on the cooling coils, drip pans and other associated air conditioning parts and duct work, including all indoor environments. It not only controls the growth of microorganisms, but eliminates the unpleasant odors that are the result of this microbial growth.

Deodorization
The powerful active ingredient in EnviroConTM oxidizes odors associated with bacteria, mold, mildew, smoke, animals, etc. in the air and in air handling units. EnviroConTM does not cover up or mask the odor with alcohol or perfumes. It eliminates the source of the odor, leaving your air fresh and clean. EnviroConTM is available in unscented form or with a light mint scent.

Toxicity & Safety
The most significant feature of EnviroConTM is the low toxicity and safety of the product. EnviroConTM has been assigned an acute toxicity rating of Category III by the EPA. This requires the EnviroConTM label to carry only a precautionary statement of "Caution". By comparison, a Category I rating denoting the highest acute toxicity, requires a "Danger" statement while a Category II rating requires a "Warning" statement. In addition, EnviroConTM is not an aerosol and contains no environmentally damaging propellants or flammable ingredients. EnviroConTM treatments may be applied to occupied spaces.

Application
EnviroConTM
may be used in all building HVAC systems -- residential, commercial, industrial and health facilities. It is easily applied with the use of a hand held fogger or air driven sprayer. All HVAC surfaces should be pre-cleaned prior to application. To control odors associated with bacteria, mold, mildew, animals, smoke, etc., thoroughly spray the source of odor with EnviroConTM and spray a light mist in the air. For year round maintenance of the HVAC system, residential homes and apartment complexes should be treated as needed. Commercial and industrial buildings and health care facilities should be treated every month to ensure effective environmental control.
